Now that I’m back at the gym and taking classes, I’ve really noticed some big changes. Not only am I more fit, I’m also more focused and relaxed. Now I’m hearing from others about their own desire to get more fit and active in life. So, I’m partnering with 24 Hour Fitness to have a very fun afternoon of fitness. GET FIT WITH ME is a FREE event with some of the best and most fun workout folks I know.

WHEN: Sunday, March 22nd from 12:30 – 3 pm (come to some or come to all)
WHERE: 24 Hour Fitness on NE Halsey in Portland
WHAT: In addition to an afternoon of fabulous fitness, 24 Hour Fitness is offering my ‘people’ –  that’s you – a 2-week pass for free. All you need to bring is a can of food to donate!

Note: If you’re not a 24 Hour Fitness member, you can get your pass earlier in the week – any time after Friday – so that you can stroll right in. Alternately, you can come at noon to sign a waiver and still have enough time to change.

12:15 – 12:25  Quick introduction of the instructors.

12:30 – 1:30  The most exciting and fun Zumba ever! The instructor is a former Blazer dancer named Natasha who is fantastic.

1:30 – 2:00  A dynamic, functional movement workout. Dan Kayan, my personal trainer, will lead this.  Dan has, quite literally, changed my life – physically and emotionally.

2:30 – 3:00  Stretching for Ease and Performance. Wendy Hernandez, an amazing trainer, will teach us active, isolated stretching and myofascial release to help muscle balance, range of motion, performance and relaxation.
